For whatever type of funding or grant you are planning to apply for, you will be required to complete an application form and prepare a Project Statement with details of financial projections.
Applicants for Matching/Repayable Grant will also have to include a Conservation Statement prepared by an appropriately qualified and accredited professional adviser.
The following criteria will be used to help assess and prioritise applications:-
- Catalytic effect towards a sustainable city
- Contribution to George Town’s OUVs
- Public realm work of historic significance
- Improvements to economic and social conditions
- Overall financial viability
- Financial need for grant demonstrated
- Encouragement of intercultural networking
- Documentation
- Sustainability of development
All applications would be reviewed by the Management & Advisory Panel before being assessed and approved by the TC Board, as per illustration below:
